Ms. Margie's Living Things
Words from Ms. Margie:

The safest and best place for wild animals to be is to be left in the wild.

Did you know that mother rabbit will leave her babies in the nest for long periods.
They have not been abandoned.  Wait and watch!   Do not touch!
They are protected and camouflaged there so do not disturb them.
Mother rabbit knows how to take care of them best – so remember, leave baby bunnies alone.

Insects are cool to look at and investigate but take care and do not harm them.  They have their jobs to do, too.
Did you know that some birds will use their nest from year to year?
Imagine coming home and not finding your house – someone took it – Oh no!
Leave a bird’s nest to the birds.

The safest and best place for wild animals to be is to be left in the wild.
